What we look for first
cotton, linen, wool
Fabrics and quality
THRIFT. pays extra attention to natural fabrics because they often feel better on the skin and last longer. At the same time, the approach stays practical: condition, comfort, and real wearability matter just as much as the label.
cotton, linen, wool
Practical, not rigid or preachy.
Condition, fabric, shape, and overall feel.
Clean, wearable clothes at accessible prices.
Why fabric matters
In second-hand shopping, it is possible to find very good pieces at fair prices, but fabric still makes a big difference: how something feels, how it wears, and how long it stays worth wearing.
Cotton, linen, and wool are often more pleasant on the skin, hold their shape better, and age more gracefully than cheaper synthetic fabrics.
That is why we look for them first. Not to lecture anyone, but because shoppers usually feel the difference the moment they try something on.
Comfortable for everyday wear, breathable, and usually easy to care for.
Light, comfortable, and especially good in warmer weather.
Warm, durable, and especially good for seasonal layers.
Synthetics are still part of the shop. We do not pretend real life is pure or simple. If a piece is in good condition, feels good, and is worth wearing, it can still belong on the rack.
The difference is that we try to judge what is actually good, comfortable, and durable instead of treating every piece as equal just because it is available.
What this means for shoppers
When fabric and condition are already being considered, second-hand shopping becomes easier. You are not only finding something that looks good, but something that feels like a good choice to take home and wear.
